Website & Ordering Security
It is safe to use your credit or debit card on this website.
When you enter personal information such as your name and address the information is sent by an encrypted link to our secure server.
You can verify this by looking for the Padlock or Key symbol at the bottom of your web browser, or checking that the web address shown in the address bar of your browser starts with "https://" rather than "http://" (the "s" indicates that the site is using highly secure SSL encryption.)
We do not handle or store your credit card details. These are handled by our Payment Service Provider, a company called Protx. Protx are the leading UK provider of credit and
debit card services, and are accredited by all of the main acquiring banks and card schemes.
Your card details are passed via secure links from your browser to Protx, and then to the banks. If your payment is authorised, the details of your order (excluding your credit/debit card details) are
passed via secure links to our order processing centre.
Any order placed on the web is called a "Card holder not present" transaction. This means that your card provider will refund any payments to your card if it is used fraudulently by someone else, or if you do not receive the goods that you have ordered.
We do not store your credit card number on our website or any of our computers.
Security on our site meets or exceeds the levels required by the credit card companies.
For your own protection, you should install, use and regularly update reputable virus checking and anti-spyware/malware software on your own PC and install reputable firewall software. Contact your IT help-desk or Internet Service Provider for more information.
If you have any questions or concerns either before or after you place an order, please do not hesitate to contact us.
